The Day I Got Saved

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:8

On February 24, 2012 I celebrated my spiritual birthday. It marked 27 years that I have known Jesus Christ as my Saviour. It is the very best thing that has ever happened in my life. I am so glad for the grace of God that was shown to me. Through the years of our relationship I have not always been the perfect child. I have failed my Lord a lot. But He has never failed me. He has been faithful in his love, He has been faithful in his leadership, and He has been faithful in his longsuffering.

  • Love- John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
  • Leadership- John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
  • Longsuffering- 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
